Seventh graders Julie Ruivo and Kara Blanton laughed in Ms. Doten's Art class as they wrapped foil around each other's heads. They were tasked with designing and creating a wig. The first part of the activity was sketching out the wigs followed by planning with tin foil. Eventually, their preliminary work will be turned into foam wigs.
Alexis Jilani sketched pictures of a Medusa-type wig and said that was her favorite part of the activity.
"I like having our ideas shown," said Melissa Quiala. "It's amazing seeing your imagination come to life."
Joseph Furry said he enjoyed being able to express himself.
"I like getting to torture everybody," said Torii Lyrek.
